About the Living Positive Resource Centre - Okanagan

The Living Positive Resource Centre, Okanagan (LPRC) has been delivering support services to persons living with HIV/AIDS in the Okanagan and region since 1992 and in April of 2004 LPRC became the official hepatitis C agency in the Okanagan region. LPRC is a non-profit, publicly and privately funded charitable organization dedicated to providing education, prevention, awareness and support to over 200 clients.

As the front-line agency for HIV/AIDS/Hepatitis C, LPRC is often the first point of contact for clients. Staff and volunteers at LPRC provide information and referrals, hospital visits, counselling, social service advocacy, self-care workshops, financial counselling, health maintenance, nutrition information, and information on accessing health services.
